Taylor Swift apparently telling cameras to 'go away' might not be what you think

By John Hall •

At last night’s NFL game, Taylor Swift was allegedly seen telling a camera to ‘go away’ when the shot stayed on her for several seconds. Some believed she was making a point to the obsessive nature of the cameras in the stadium whenever she attends a game. However, fans claim she didn’t actually tell the cameras to leave her alone, they think she muttered something else.

Taylor Swift attended the January 28 match between Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens to support her beau. But there seemed to be a bit of an issue in the stands for Travis Kelce‘s girlfriend with the fan cam. Luckily, everything seemed to be fine, and she even ended her time in the stadium sharing passionate kisses to celebrate his win over the Baltimore Ravens, which sent his team to the 2024 Superbowl.

Taylor seemingly tells cameras to ‘go away’

Many believe Taylor Swift told CBS cameras to “go away, please” as she watched the match. The music star noticed she was onscreen, and she seemingly thought she was on there for too long as she made the remark.

However, this wouldn’t be the first time she has been highlighted. The Shake It Off hitmaker has been attending games since September last year. Taylor often makes appearances both alone and alongside the sportsman’s family, including his mom, Donna, and brother Jason.

Some fans were quick to defend the one-half of the celebrity couple as they believed the spotlight was “overdoing it.”

Someone else said: “You know what, she’s got my respect. I know she’s never been at fault for the constant coverage of her at these games, as it’s been nauseating to no end. Really wish the networks would stop this, as they only need to show her and other celebrities once.

“She’s there as a fan and spectator, nothing more and less. Media coverage of her at these games has not helped as it’s unintentionally made her an enemy among passionate sports fans.”

Some people have insisted Taylor Swift didn’t tell the cameras to “go away” but instead commented on the upcoming Grammys. A graphic was shown onscreen for the award show at the same time the camera was on her. The upcoming event takes place on February 4.

The celebrity is nominated for six Grammy Awards at this year’s ceremony. Her potential accolades include Song of the Year for Anti-Hero and her latest non-rerecorded album, Midnights, for Album of the Year.

Swifties took to X (formerly Twitter) to state they believed she was actually saying: “Oh, the Grammys” rather than expressing her annoyance at being onscreen.

“She definitely did. You can clearly see the “Gr” mouth motion,” another person said.

Someone one else joked: “But it is a real blue dress/gold dress situation.”
