Matthew Raymond Hauri, well known for his moniker Yung Gravy, was born in Rochester, Minnesota, United States of America on March 19, 1996.

His parents were Peter Johannes Hauri, an insomnia psychologist and Cynthia Cleveland Hauri. He is a rapper and songwriter who is into hip hop, trap, satirical hip hop, soul and funk music genres.

Yung Gravy started rapping in college just for entertainment at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, United States of America. He graduated with a degree in marketing.

He began rapping professionally after signing to SoundCloud. He finally had a breakthrough in his career following the release of his song Mr. Clean in 2017. It was his launchpad to fame and stardom.
